The Tyrolean “Zugspitzarena” is a real paradise for ski tours: whilst climbing step by step in the glittering snow to the summit, you will hear the sound of your breath and your heart in the marvellous silence and enjoy the deeply snow-covered landscape and the unspoilt nature. It is really fantastic and the “Icing On The Cake” especially for individualists. Once you have reached the summit, you will be rewarded with splendid views over the mountains and the valley as well as an incomparable feeling of happiness. The unforgettable descent in the powder snow or firn is the highlight and an experience which makes feel deeply free and satisfied. Every Thursday the slopes of “Marienberg” mountain are accessible for ski tours. After having climbed on top with the skis, you may replenish your energy having a snack at “Sun Alm” Inn, before skiing down to the valley equipped with a headlamp and filled with a sense of freedom and happiness. The effort and perseverance will be rewarded by an experience which you will talk about with pleasure for a long time. Your host Walter will be happy to accompany you for this extraordinary adventure. The guests who would like to enjoy a meal at “Sun Alm” Inn without undertaking the strenuous climb can use the comfortable snow taxi.
